Cody P Christian (born December 21, 1989 in Charleston, South Carolina) is an indie film artist, a business owner, and the host of both video and audio podcasts. His first home PC was a Gateway computer that ran Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition. He currently resides in Auburndale, Florida.
Christian produced the Internet television show "Hackcom," and the netcast "Hackcom Netcast". Hackcom was hosted by Christian, and remains one of the best places to find in-depth Xbox help.
Hackcom
In July 2006, Christian created Hackcom with the help of some Internet friends. In December 2006, Christian extended Hackcom.org to include a new audio show called "Hackcom Netcast" (first released on December 2nd, 2006). After a good run of 24 episodes, Hackcom Netcast stopped production (those episodes will remain online). Soon after, Christian released the final episode of the Hackcom video podcast, to free his time for bigger projects.
Production View
In 2007, Christian released a series of episodes under the banner "Production View": a program exploring the ideas and techniques behind creating great video. "No one can just pick up a camera and go film," says Christian. "You need to know the basics of shot composition and technique."
The program is currently unavailable for viewing, but Christian is considering making them available online in the future.
Stranger Things
Stranger Things is the first science fiction anthology series to shoot and release in high definition on the Internet. Christian recently met with the creator Earl Newton, and begain working with him and the crew to help further the production of their show. Currently, Christian is completing construction on a new Stranger Things website, and looks forward to adding his post-production skills to the crew's roster.
